Job Description

Delta Dallas's Frisco, TX client is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Analyst (System Specialist II / SS II) to be responsible to answer calls and escalations from the help desk system, develop and maintain documentation, leverage proven methods and solutions and provide a high level of service and technical expertise to all end users.

Operations and Support

  • Resolve any and all help desk tickets.
  • Prioritizing escalations from VIP users.
  • Identify, fix/escalate tickets in coordination with help desk team.
  • Address walk up help requests by local staff.
  • Resolve remote support requests by field staff.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Ensure ticket performance metrics are met
  • Resolve IT related problems quickly.
  • Escalate any that are close to exceeding metrics.
  • Communicate technical solutions effectively to people with varying degrees of knowledge.
  • Review daily system monitoring via dashboards/logs/reports:
    • Verify infrastructure system resource availability
    • Ensure that periodic backups are completed.
  • Application availability
  • Assist in repair and recovery impacted equipment when outage occur.


  • Maintain Office 365 licensing, accounts, and services.
  • Create, edit, delete Active Directory and Azure Active Directory accounts as well as third party application accounts.
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedural documentation including processes and procedures for new hires, infrastructure changes, etc.
  • Maintain security related systems and monitoring per training and documentation given.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Preferred associates or bachelor's degree with a technical major such as computer science
  • 2 to 4 years of experience help desk resolving end user IT related issues
  • 1+ years’ experience administering Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and 3rd Party Accounts
  • 2+ years of systems administration experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Experience managing a virtual server and cloud computing environment a plus
  • Experience with networking systems and devices to include firewalls, switches, and routers a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Works under limited supervision, and self-initiate projects improvement efforts.
  • Creativity and limited latitude are expected and will report to IT Infrastructure Director.
  • Communicates effectively with various types of customers, employees and with various management levels within the company and vendor organizations.
  • Ability to interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration and Requirements:

  • Relevant technical certifications a plus: (MD-100, MD-101, MS-900, MS-100)
