Job Description

Delta Dallas is currently partnering with a well-known Real Estate Financial Property Management Compnay in its search for a dynamic Executive Assistant.  The Executive Assistant will directly support the CEO. The main duties include scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, organizing daily calendars and assisting with personal task.  To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be proactive, able to meet strict deadlines, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a gatekeeper for CEO by responding to inquiries within expected time frames to ensure the highest caliber of professionalism in all interactions

  • Maintain executives’ appointment schedule and calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences and conference calls

  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements and prepare expense reports

  • Generate clear and accurate correspondence, including complex presentations letters, memos and emails.

  • Handle highly confidential, sensitive and/or critical information

  • Manage incoming and outgoing emails, mail and phone calls, and determine the importance and priority of the issues 

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings

  • Communicate with internal managers and outside clients

  • At times, work independently with little direct input and take initiative in CEO’s absence

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO and Board of Directors for a public/private company strongly preferred

  • Professional Demeanor is a must

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

  • High degree of initiative and emotional intelligence

  • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment and discretion in the performance of all functions and responsibilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with senior level executives and other staff within and outside of the company with a great deal of tact and diplomacy

  • Experienced in effectively and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects

  • Must have intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
