Executive Assistant - Downtown Dallas


Delta Dallas is currently representing a wholesale supply company in its search for an Executive Assistant to support its newly promoted Global CFO. The position is located in Downtown Dallas, and the company offers a parking allowance or a company-paid DART pass.

The CFO needs a strong right-hand – this role is not just booking travel and managing his calendar – it is so much more! He needs someone analytical with excellent MS Office skills including Excel (Pivot Tables and v-lookups), PowerPoint (detailed presentations for meetings and departmental projects), and Outlook (scheduling on a global basis). Proven project coordination/management experience is highly preferred.

The executive has never had a dedicated Executive Assistant, so this is an excellent opportunity to show him the value of a strong support partner. Once he learns what an experienced executive support resource can do, the sky will be the limit for him and his EA!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Special project management
  • Meeting planning
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the financial team)
  • Executive’s email management (sorting and filtering, and responding on his behalf)
  • Gatekeeping (he needs someone who can manage his time)
  • Travel coordination (while he travels regularly, most of his travel will be booked by the corporate events team; his EA will primarily be responsible for coordinating the details with that team)
  • Attendance at executive and departmental meetings (including taking notes, sending action items and coordinating follow-up with his team)
  • Periodic travel to remote conferences and meetings (less than 25%)


Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience supporting a senior, C-level executive on a global basis
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint)
  • Project coordination experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • The highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Extremely resourceful and intuitive
  • Ability to pass an in-depth criminal background check and drug screen
