Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual
  • Attends and participates in administrative staff meetings; takes notes and distributes
  • Maintains company organization charts and employee directories
  • Develops organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, payroll and scheduling
  • Oversees company travel accounts (Avis, Southwest, American Airlines and Concur) for select individuals
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees
  • Schedules interviews
  • Coordinates background checks and drug screenings
  • Orders supplies
  • Establishes team atmosphere through leadership and employee development
  • Cover front desk when needed – answer phones and greet guests
  • Plan company events
  • Manages and supports front desk staff
  • Administrative support as needed to executive team
  • Support benefits administration and employee recognition programs
  • Record keeping (digital and print)
  • On/off-boarding procedures, orientation, and training
  • Inventory and supply management
  • Support basic IT functions and coordinate with outside IT provider
  • Internal and external company surveys
  • Marketing support such as social media content, trademarks, gifts, etc.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Microsoft Office Suites and Concur proficiency
  • 5-7 Years of applicable experience
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with an entrepreneurial environment

Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am to 6:30 pm

Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Overtime may be required
