Job Description

Delta Dallas’s DFW-area client is seeking a Data Analyst / Quality Control Analyst for their Mid-Cities location. This will be a 60-90-day contract role with potential conversion to full-time.

Primary responsibilities will be to support the Senior Data Analyst for day-to-day reporting and database projects including:

  • Development of ad-hoc reports and periodic running of routine reports.
  • Extracting data from existing databases and legacy systems/applications (SQL, Access, Text-based, etc) for use in ad-hoc reports. (ETL experience.)
  • Assist in administration and maintenance of existing databases.
  • Eventually assume primary day-to-day support of data/reporting functions to free up Senior Data Analyst for implementation of new systems by late 2020.

Skills Required

  • Intermediate Excel skills are required (formulas, tables, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Experience with SQL, Access and Text-based data sources is required.
  • Experience with various reporting tools including SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, Business Objects, etc is a plus.
  • Experience with website development/maintenance is preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus and automobile warranty experience is preferred.
  • Candidates should be willing and able to commute daily to Mid-Cities area.
