Job Description

Delta Dallas's client is seeking a Service Desk Manager for their new Las Colinas location. The client is a publicly traded company specializing in the energy services business including pipeline, refinery and electrical grid services.


  • Work closely with the Global Director of IT to build and deliver shared technical services team (service desk, desktop and application support) for their growing organization.
  • Document services in ticketing system required (Datto AutoTask PSA experience is a plus).
  • Procurement and inventory control of technical assets.
  • Create and document policies, operational procedures and change management for the technical support group.
  • Provide a wide-range of technical support for corporate, subsidiary and remote/field users.
  • This position would initially be the sole support analyst for their new Las Colinas location and would be responsible to help grow and manage the team during the expected growth of the organization (mostly through planned acquisitions/mergers).

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of service desk (helpdesk/desktop support) and/or systems administration experience.
  • Experience with a managed services provider is preferred. 
  • Commitment to detailed documentation of technical support services is critical.
  • Attention to detail in day-to-day responsibilities is also critical.
  • Ability and willingness to create policies and procedures for new department is required.
  • Ability to edit/modify scripts is important. Strong scripting experience preferred.
  • Desire to grow into a leadership role and build a support team is essential.
  • Technical expertise in a Microsoft environment, including strong O365 experience, is required.
