Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Temporary Administrative Assistant (Remote)

Duration: Until mid-September, 30 hours per week

Location: Remote with occasional onsite work in Plano office as required

Overview: We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our team until mid-September. This role requires proficiency in Salesforce, Adobe, and marketing, with fundraising experience being highly advantageous. This is a remote position, though occasional onsite presence in our Plano office will be necessary.


  • Conduct a thorough review of our website to compile a comprehensive site map and update resources/pages as needed.
  • Manage donation acknowledgments by sending personalized thank-you letters promptly.
  • Assist in Salesforce setup for donor management and workflow processes (experience preferred but not essential).
  • Coordinate email communications related to events and our centennial celebrations.
  • Prepare for events by setting up and distributing Zoom links, managing registrations, and updating calendars across platforms like Google and Digital Cheetah.
  • Create and format basic slide decks for presentations.
  • Support post-event activities as required.
  • Assist in organizing and planning for our upcoming centennial events.
  • Manage meeting requests and coordinate schedules effectively.
  • Maintain digital file organization to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent branding across various platforms.
  • Optionally, create templates for social media and PowerPoint presentations.


  • Proficiency in Salesforce for donor management (preferred).
  • Experience in Adobe software for basic graphic design tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Prior experience in fundraising or nonprofit environments is desirable.

Wishlist (Desirable Skills):

  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Digital Cheetah.
  • Graphic design capabilities for creating templates and promotional materials.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.

Note: This position offers flexibility with remote work arrangements, with occasional onsite requirements in our Plano office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing diverse administrative tasks effectively.
