Job Duties:
- Oversee all initial and reappointment credentialing processes for healthcare providers.
- Collect and submit credentialing documentation in accordance with assigned provider network requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider databases, tracking systems, and credentialing files.
- Perform primary source verification as required.
- Provide timely and detailed status updates on credentialing activities.
- Monitor credentialing progress to ensure accuracy and proactively identify re-credentialing needs.
- Review credentialing documents for compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
- Manage and maintain corporate provider contract records.
- Enter and update provider data in online credentialing systems and databases.
- Track license and certification expiration dates to ensure timely renewals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards and credentialing procedures.
- Proven experience in credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills to maintain detailed records.
- Ability to communicate effectively with providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams.
- Strong follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of enrollment and credentialing tasks.
- Experience in managing logs and spreadsheets for tracking credentialing activities.
