Executive Assistant (Contract)

Location: Dallas, TX
Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with the flexibility to accommodate regular overtime, including evenings and weekends
Duration: December through May
Compensation: $35/hour plus paid overtime



Position Summary:

Delta Dallas is partnering with a client in the Environmental Services industry to fill a Contract Executive Assistant position. This role supports a high-level executive during a particularly busy season of events and requires a highly organized, self-directed individual with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in administrative and event support, with a strong preference for event planning expertise.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Management: Coordinate complex travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, and ensure seamless travel logistics.
  • Calendar Oversight: Manage and prioritize an active calendar of appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Event Support: Provide logistical and administrative support for large-scale events, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-up tasks to ensure completion.
  • Administrative Tasks: Draft, edit, and manage correspondence, presentations, reports, and other business-critical documents.
  • Overtime Responsibilities: Provide support during evenings and weekends as required by event schedules (overtime is compensated).


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years as an Executive Assistant, preferably with event planning or conference management experience.
  • Event Planning: Demonstrated success in planning and supporting large-scale events is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organization: Exceptional time management and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability: Resilient and composed, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and shifting priorities gracefully.


Additional Information:

This is a contract position with a duration from December through May, requiring regular overtime, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of event schedules. Candidates must be self-managed and proactive.
