Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist. If you have a passion for employee relations, we want to connect with you!
Our client is a well-known 'household name' across the U.S., offering excellent employee tenure and a great work environment.
This is a 100% onsite role, and only candidates located within the Dallas/Fort Worth area will be considered at this time. No relocation assistance is offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations: Perform both in-person and virtual/phone investigations for employee relations issues in multiple states (TX, CA, WA, and other states).
- Prepare and distribute reports such as Turnover Reports, EEO-1 filings, etc.
- Write and/or revise job descriptions and manage the posting and management of open positions.
- Provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers, handling tough conversations with professionalism.
- Work effectively with employees at all levels within the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- PHR or other HR certification is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in employee relations.
- At least 70% of your current or past roles should focus on employee relations.
- Must have experience conducting investigations from inception to resolution.
- Experience with mid-to-high volume environments is required.
- Experience in writing, revising, and managing job descriptions and open positions is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are a must. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Up to 20% travel within the U.S. is required.
