Entrepreneurial Flooring Distribution Company | Full-Time

Are you a customer service rockstar with a knack for operations and logistics? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where every day brings something new? Delta Dallas is partnering with a rapidly growing flooring distribution company to find an experienced Administrative Assistant who is proactive, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of this critical support role.

About the Role
This is not your average admin position. We???re looking for someone who???s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, juggle multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. You???ll serve as the backbone of the company???s operations, managing everything from order placement to shipping logistics and customer service follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Accurately place customer orders and track them from start to finish
  • Schedule and book shipments across the U.S., coordinating trucking and distribution as needed
  • Maintain CRM records and enter product codes with precision
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels
  • Process payments, billing, invoicing, and support A/P and A/R functions
  • Confirm order details and resolve any issues quickly and professionally
  • Perform non-routine administrative tasks as assigned, with clear direction
  • Provide excellent face-to-face and remote customer service, including de-escalation when necessary

Requirements
  • 3???5 years of administrative and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced or entrepreneurial setting
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage a high workload under pressure
  • Operations-focused mindset with a willingness to ???own??? the role
