Job Title: Economic Development & Real Estate Research Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Economic Development & Real Estate Research Analyst to join our team. This role blends economic research with commercial real estate analytics, supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data, uncovering trends, and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analyze real estate and economic trends across sectors such as hospitality, multi-family, and office.

Collect, validate, and consolidate data from sources like CoStar and other industry or public databases.

Develop reports and data visualizations that summarize key insights for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven analysis related to market performance, development activity, and investment opportunities.

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of all data and reports.

Identify emerging trends and contribute recommendations based on findings.

Collaborate with colleagues in planning, business development, and research functions to support shared goals.
Qualifications:

2???5 years of experience in economic research, commercial real estate analytics, or urban development.

Bachelor???s degree in Economics, Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Proficiency with data and visualization tools such as CoStar, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.

Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to translate data into clear narratives and recommendations.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an economic development, planning, or real estate research environment.

Familiarity with economic indicators, demographic data, or local market trends.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for sharing insights with diverse audiences.
