Position Summary:
The Human Resources/Benefits Administrator supports the operational effectiveness of a faith-based nonprofit organization by managing employee benefits programs, maintaining accurate information systems, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments and locations to support staff and leadership effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
The Human Resources/Benefits Administrator supports the operational effectiveness of a faith-based nonprofit organization by managing employee benefits programs, maintaining accurate information systems, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments and locations to support staff and leadership effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization???s central database and associated applications.
- Oversee compliance and recordkeeping for mandatory training programs, ensuring timely completion and documentation across all departments.
- Maintain property and liability insurance records, ensure organizational compliance, assist with policy selection, and facilitate claims processing.
- Manage reporting and statistical data collection, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of required reports.
- Administer employee benefits for 500+ participants across multiple locations, including pension, health (medical and behavioral), dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, and short- and long-term disability plans.
- Serve as administrative liaison for the Finance Committee and other governing bodies as needed, preparing documentation and maintaining official records.
- Provide support to the Finance and Business Office, including assistance with financial recordkeeping and acting as backup for critical functions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support key organizational initiatives and events, contributing to a culture of excellence and teamwork.
